- HEAVY-DUTY COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE: Engineered for the demands of busy entryways, the Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Commercial Duty Door Closer is perfect for medium- to high-traffic doors in aluminum storefronts, restaurants, offices, and other public spaces. Built to handle doors from 30 to 240 lbs with smooth, reliable operation.
- EASY INSTALLATION & CUSTOM SETTINGS: This hydraulic door closer uses dual independent valves for precise control over closing and latching speeds, plus an adjustable back-check to prevent uncontrolled opening. It’s non-handed and supports regular arm, top-jamb, or parallel arm mounting, with screw-in surface mount compatibility. Adjustable from size 1–6 (preset to 3), it uses the same mounting hole pattern as the Norton 8501 and 8301 models—making it a perfect replacement for existing installations.
- CERTIFIED & ADA COMPLIANT: This barrier-free door closer is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meets ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 standards, ANSI Grades 1–3, and is UL Listed for fire door assemblies for dependable safety and performance. Engineered with reduced spring power for easier opening, providing smooth operation for handicapped or elderly users.
- COMPACT, DURABLE & SLEEK: Built for longevity in commercial settings, this closer features a sprayed aluminum finish with a durable plastic cover and compact dimensions of 12.75" L × 1.75" W × 2.125" D for a clean, low-profile look on any doorway.
- ALL-IN-ONE INSTALLATION KIT: Every 8500 Series closer includes a matching arm, all necessary fasteners, a mounting template, and clear instructions. It comes tri-packed with wood screws, metal screws, and thru-bolts for fire-rated doors, allowing easy installation on both wood and metal doors.
