It started when we found ourselves spending more time inside, and the need to decorate our living space as comfortable as possible became a priority. With more greens inside our home, we started to notice most of the planters on the market didn't meet the need for indoor plants. They need water, but the right amount and cadence, and most importantly they don't want to sit in the water. Yet most of the planters on the market are either connected to the drainage saucer itself so you cannot the toss excessive water, or the planters just have a plug at the bottom which requires you to come up with your own saucer to drain the excessive water out. After multiple tries of thin plastic saucers, we shook our head and started to design our own sturdy yet modern-looking ceramic plant saucers.

These white uncoated saucers go into firing at just the right temperature with accurate timing to "mature" the material.

Here's where the magic happens - our ceramic artists hand-glaze each saucer with beautifully designed patterns. No saucers look identical!

These ceramic saucers with glaze go back to the heating process to mature the glaze, which concludes the ceramic-making process.

Toss Excessive Water
Some of the planters on the market have an attached but not separable saucer at the bottom - this means your plant constantly sits in excessive water, which is a big no-no in plant water control. Our stand-alone saucer makes sure you can lift up the planter and toss the excessive water accumulated in the saucer.
Effective Water Control
Watering plant sounds easy but can be tricky. Always make sure to water your plants thoroughly, which means you'll want to see the excessive water show up in the saucer. Our 1/2 inch depth is just the right depth to drain out excessive water when you water plants, but don't forget to toss the excessive water!
