This helps release any trapped air and initiates water flow. For continuous and reliable operation, connect the pump permanently to a tap instead of using a bucket, which helps avoid air issues in the system. Additionally, apply Teflon tape to the elbow connectors of the pump. Wrap the tape around the threading (chudi part) of the elbow until it is fully covered, ensuring a tight seal and preventing leaks. Once the Teflon tape is applied, securely fix the elbow connector into the pump. By following these steps, you can set up your pump correctly and avoid issues related to air traps or leaks.
