The separable components of thrust ball bearings are interchangeable. This facilitates mounting and dismounting and maintenance inspections.
Thrust Ball Bearings have consisted of a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a ball and cage assembly.
They are designed to accommodate axial loads and locate a shaft axially, in one direction only, and must not be subjected to any radial load.
Chromium Steel (GCr15) Shaft and Housing Washer provide high and uniform hardness and good wear resistance.
