This acrylic wand is specifically designed for pulling and pushing curtains. It is not intended for blinds that require a twisting or rotating motion to open and close.
How can I prevent the rings from catching on the curtain rod when I slide them, and how heavy can the curtains be?
Rings often catch at the joints of curtain rods. To improve smooth sliding, we recommend using a curtain slide tape or liner along the top of the rod to reduce friction and prevent snagging. The maximum recommended curtain weight is 20 lbs.
What type of curtains can this wand be used with?
Work well with curtains that glide on a curtain track or rod, including heavier fabrics. For tab-top or back-tab curtains, it is best suited for sheer or lightweight materials. It is not recommended for use with rod pocket curtains.
How much bending should I expect in the curtain rod during use?
Some natural flexing is normal and depends on the weight of your curtain fabric and the amount of force applied when opening or closing. Please refer to the product photos, which show the typical level of bending during regular use.
How do I choose the right wand length (24", 36", or 46") for my curtains?
Choose based on your window and reach: 24” works for windows ≤7 ft high/wide, 36” or 46” for taller/wider windows. If furniture sits between you and the curtain, 46” is usually best.
