- Slow, Soft Closing for Most Lid: This soft close box hinge is a gas strut used for preventing heavy lids from slamming shut. It is capable of activating a controlled, slow-closing motion once the lid is pushed below 90°, making it an ideal safety box hinge for toy box or chest lids
- Dual Mounting Brackets for Different Lid Types: The included two different mounting brackets allows this soft close box hinge to be used on flat lids (standard storage boxes), used on curved lids (decorative chests), and used on arched or rounded surfaces (toy boxes). Used by DIYers and furniture makers, having both options on hand means you can match the bracket to your specific lid shape without guesswork
- 150N Per Hinge, Up to 50 lbs Total Capacity: This 2-pack slow close hinge kit is capable of managing lids weighing up to 50 lbs when both hinges are installed. Each individual gas strut hinge provides 150N of damping force, used to manage lids up to 25 lbs individually. With a 15-inch extended length, this soft close hinge is capable of reaching a 105° opening angle, used for wooden boxes that require wide access to the interior
- Smooth, Quiet, and Built to Last: This soft close hinge closes lids with a steady, controlled motion and produces little noise during use. Used on toy chests or storage boxes, the quiet operation helps reduce the risk of sudden slams, while the durable alloy steel construction resists wear over time, ensuring the soft close hinge remains reliable over extended use
- Complete 2-Pack Set for Easy Upgrade: Each package is a complete kit containing two gas struts, all necessary screws, and a manual. Used with basic DIY tools, it can be mounted on either the left or right side. This soft close hinge is an easy upgrade used for existing boxes, requiring no complex modifications

When the lid is pushed below 90°, this slow close hinge activates a controlled, gentle closing motion. The gas strut applies consistent damping force, so the lid does not drop suddenly or slam shut. The soft-close function provides added control during everyday use on wooden box, chest,or storage bin
This soft close chest hinge kit includes a flat lid bracket. It attaches to the underside of the lid for a secure and stable fit. Works well for wooden boxes, storage chests, or toy boxes with flat tops. The gas strut mounts firmly to the flat surface for consistent support and smooth daily use.
The soft close hinge kit includes a bracket for curved, round, or arched lids. It attaches to the side edge where the surface is not flat. The gas strut provides reliable support and smooth operation on non-flat surfaces. Works well on storage bins, wooden chests, or toy boxes with rounded tops.
